We are thrilled to publish EGCC’s first literary and art journal! This presents yet another opportunity for all students at EGCC to explore the world of publication and have their poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art reach a wide audience. By embracing the arts and writing, EGCC once again promotes the whole student in their growth and educational journey.

Oak Tree Journal is an all-new, multi-disciplinary, literary journal published by Eastern Gateway Community College, and is publishing its second issue this academic year. Our goal is to publish student works in Poetry, Fiction, Nonfiction, Art, and Mixed Media. You will find us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Drawing only from community college students and intended for community college students, Oak Tree Journal is an opportunity to showcase the exceptional talent, vitality and spirit of our students and of community college students across the state of Ohio. 

The journal will hold its launch in the Spring with publication of our second online issue. If you would like to become involved with Oak Tree Journal, please reach out to us!
