Karen Prowda is thrilled to show her art in the Oak Tree Journal. Karen is student editor of the Journal, which she describes as an amazing experience to work with others who share passion for the arts.
Karen started painting during the pandemic and continues to take art lessons. To start a piece that seems daunting, then through effort, watch it develop into something meaningful, is a growth experience and journey that translates to much in life, she believes. Karen graduated from college several decades ago but is honored to re-enter college at EGCC. She is a paralegal major in the online program and resides in Upstate NY.
